Christine and Grant’s Wedding

The bride and groom are not big on desserts, so they wanted something simply decorated that guests could grab at the reception. I created vanilla, chocolate, and red velvet cake pops dipped in white chocolate that was colored light yellow and gray. The pops were topped with either white sugar pearls or white chocolate drizzle. To complete the wedding theme colors, I added teal ribbons to the pops. The cake was vanilla with vanilla buttercream, covered in fondant, and decorated with yellow and gray ribbon. Congratulations Christine and Grant!

Milkaholic Baby Shower

This baby shower presented me with a new challenge – how to create typewritten letters out of chocolate. It took awhile to get the hang of it, as each letter had to be hand drawn one at a time. I also created bottles out of white chocolate to top the cupcakes.

Soumya’s Wedding Shower

The subtle theme for the wedding shower was peacocks. I created chocolate cupcakes with blue & purple swirls in vanilla buttercream, as well as cake pops dipped in white chocolate and decorated with the eye of the peacock made from royal icing. This was my first experience working with disco dust, and I was really excited to see the final glitter effect on the cake pops. Congratulations Soumya!
